Closing early childhood care for thousands of Kansas City children and families will have devastating effects on thousands of Kansas City families, workplaces, and most importantly, kids. Cutting early childhood program through Head Start is cruel to Kansas City and American families. Leaders in the U.S. House should get back work and join their Senate colleagues in resolving the budget impasse before more American kids are devastated by their inaction."
