Kansas City Jazz Haunt Reveals Spirited Encounters With Afterlife

Actually . . . 

The haunting of the Phoenix goes back a long way and can get kinda dark. 

My favorite local legend is that evil dead downtown biz dudes visit the place in their doomed ethereal form in order to find some solace in the music and because no other locale would have them.  

Also . . . Charlie Parker's tortured soul STILL TRYING TO ESCAPE KANSAS CITY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS is also pretty fun.  

Accordingly . . . Haunted Kansas City history stories are a fave since the days when Larry Moore used to read the otherworldly reports around this time of year . . . Here's today's update on another dead local club: 

"Staff members say the ghosts have been known to tip glasses over and move one of the bar chairs."
