We wanted to include this local perspective from Kansas City metro education leader Dr. Nicole Price regarding a national controversy that includes a KCPD restraining order report and one of her colleagues. . . Here's her statement on the former Iowa Superintendent who is now in federal custody:

Whatever the headlines say right now, one truth remains indisputable: 

Dr. Roberts gave everything he had -- including his freedom -- For children in K-12 education across this country.

He led with radical empathy, clarity of mission, and a courageous spirit that shook rooms into action.
