Kansas City Chiefs Verify Conversation With Jackson County Exec LeVota

Like it or not, Exec LeVota seems FAR MORE WILLING to keep lines of communication than the old boss.

Here's the aftermath . . .

Kansas City Chiefs owner and CEO Clark Hunt said Monday the team has had conversations with new Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota.

LeVota has been on the job for a few weeks following the recall of former executive Frank White.

"We have had some preliminary conversations with him," Hunt said before Monday's game. "He obviously has a lot of things on his plate, but he expressed eagerness to work with us, and we expect to expand those conversations in the coming weeks."

Hunt also said the team is still considering both a renovation at Arrowhead Stadium and possibly building a new stadium.
