BarkleyOKRP laid off “dozens”
Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc. detailed its plans in April to lay off 72 local workers.
General Motors put 900 workers at the Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kansas, on indefinite layoff earlier in October as the plant goes through retooling. More recently, the company said it was indefinitely suspending plans to add a second shift of Chevrolet Bolt workers.
Ford Motor Co. will lay off all three F-150 shifts and its stamping press line all of next week in Kansas City, the first of what probably will be rolling layoffs . . .
