
This moment in Kansas City history deserves a pause and some context.
For many, the nation seems locked in partisan discord wherein voters are locked in a binary dispute that feeds on emotion, antagonism and, sadly, demographic differences.
Even as voters reject his tenure . . . The Exec remains defiant and unconcerned with the clear message from his constituents.
MAYBE this offers some guidance regarding the importance of guidance and the hard work of the political process that, hopefully, works to benefit all Americans.
BUT, it's probably just another reminder that people HATE unfairly high taxes and have always resented rising costs throughout human history.

The Jackson County Election Board certified the results on Monday. The Kansas City, Missouri, Election Board certified its results on Wednesday.
“The timing and manner of my departure are not what I wanted, but that is alright as long as no one takes from this moment the wrong lesson,” White said. “Standing by your principles should never be seen as a mistake or a weakness. I would rather leave with my head held high, proud of what we have accomplished together, than stay by compromising what I know is right.”
