Faithful Kansas City Activists Inspire Local Gun Surrender

Here's what we like . . .

This effort is based on a line from Isiah and hopes that fewer guns will help lower the quotient of violence in the Kansas City metro.

Of course . . . TKC readers always remind us that gun buybacks don't really work but they don't even offer a pseudo bible verse like Ezekiel 25:17 just for kicks

What we're left with . . .

The whole point of people of faith is to work against hopeless odds and hope to save just one lost sheep. That work is a lot harder than being an online hater and for that these locals have our respect . . .

"Volunteers with Central Presbyterian Church held their first annual Guns to Garden event last year, collecting 81 guns to be repurposed into garden tools and art. This year, the group hopes more people safely surrender firearms so they aren't used to contribute to gun violence in Kansas City."
