A sign of the times . . .
Amid furloughs, layoffs and a great deal of local economic suffering . . . The momentum inside the loop seems to be going in the wrong direction . . . Or at least lacks the spark that we've seen in recent years.
Take a peek at a disappointment for MNF fans who like seeing it during the flyovers:
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas shared on Facebook that the Western Auto sign will stay turned off ahead of the Chiefs’ Monday Night Football game.
The City said that many of the lights stopped working, and due to maintenance concerns, it has been turned off since July.
