Did KDOT Give Middle-Finger To Olathe?!?

That's what this testimony claims . . . Check-it: 

“We know the economic [growth] is happening, but what I’m saying is why is that more important than the safety concerns of the kids, of the students, everybody in the area?” council member Matthew Schoonover said to Kansas Department of Transportation representatives Tuesday. “We talk to parents about this all the time, and nobody wants this thing because they don’t want trucks driving through the area where their kids are going to school.”
