Clay Chastain Snubbed Again Despite Thousands Of Monorail Petitions

A word from a friend of the blog for Friday . . . 

Clay Chastain Press release: The man they fear the most went back to the scene of the crime and was (yet again) silenced. 

This time it was the City's Transportation & Infrastructure Committee (T & I) who refused to allow Chastain to present his Monorail Initiative @ the hearing (already signed in support of by nearly 1,000 KC Voters). After the hearing Chastain confronted the Committee Chair, Councilman Keven O'Neill, as to why the snub. He said, "I polled the Committee Members and they're not interested". Channel 9 was there & its reporter got in on City Hall's Great Suppression Act too by telling me he was not interested either.

So the City is not interested in The Greatest Transportation & Infrastructure Improvement Initiative in the City's history (Airport Monorail to Union Station, Et al) that will make Kansas City a more Affordable, Equitable, Livable & Sustainable City. Just what are they interested in...keeping Chastain from winning for Kansas City?

Even though the People are behind the Monorail Plan, City Hall does not want to work with the People... only with insiders, special interests & establishment players. Now you know why we must go around KC's arrogant-acting & vision-less government & carry forward this forward-thinking vision via the Democratic Petition Process
