Gen Z doesn't even like drinking. 

Think about it . . .

Youngsters grew up with "cool" parents taking them to breweries and for them these hangouts represent obligation & not relaxation.  

Moreover . . .

NOBODY has the cash to pay 9 bucks for a high calorie beer anymore.  

And so, we notice quite a few hacks celebrating this news but it might not merit so much exuberance for a tradition that has been fading for quite some time . . . Of course we share the bright side for balance:

Brewery, taproom taking root in former JoCo Macy's amid neighborhood transformation

An Iowa-based brewer - lauded for igniting economic growth and vibrancy in the communities where it plants its taprooms - announced plans Monday to expand its Big Grove brand into Prairie Village, projecting a fall 2026 opening within a long-dormant retail space in Johnson County.
