"The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced on Friday, Sept. 5, that it has declared the death of Charles Adair at the Wyandotte County Detention Center to be a homicide.
"Law enforcement officials noted that Adair, 50, had been in the Wyandotte County Detention Center for a single day after his arrest for failure to appear on multiple traffic violations - all misdemeanors. "
