Show-Me New Attorney General Expanding Kansas City Office

The new boss actually has bipartisan support in Jeff City and this low-key move offers some hope of law enforcement collaboration rather than the political flexing that dominated the tenure of Andrew Bailey.

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway attended the Kansas City Police Board of Police Commissioners meeting.

“Fighting crime is going to be my number one priority,” Hanaway said. “In terms of forming this partnership, I want to work closely with the elected prosecutor. I want to work closely with all of you to find out exactly what you need and how we can be helpful.”

Hanaway said she is currently recruiting to expand her Kansas City office.
