Debating the legacy of a debater is discouraged at an institution that is SUPPOSED to promote critical thinking.
On the other hand . . .
We've noticed very little thoughtful critical commentary on the legacy of Mr. Kirk, only culture war partisan talking point hatched by bots, foreign agents and very, very lonely people looking for some kind of attention no matter the consequences. Sometimes, it's important for smart people to stay silent and let the mob move on the next political "red meat" debate.
