Show-Me Congressman Cleaver Testimony Against Missouri Redistricting

Sadly but probably smartly . . . The Congressman didn't have any snappy quotes or power moves to show off in Jeff City . . . He simply made his case and talked about his concerns.

Now, we wanted to share a quick review as the GOP vote moves forward and the public is mostly unaware of an anticlimax in the making . . . Check-it: 

"Missouri senators are moving quickly on a congressional redistricting bill that would split Kansas City into three districts, a proposal Democrats say is being rushed through the Legislature.  The “Missouri First Map” cleared a Senate committee Thursday after Republicans used a rarely invoked motion to cut off debate a day earlier.  A full Senate vote is expected Friday."
