Overland Park Raises New Flag

As always, BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS remind us to show so love for the local suburbs.

Here's a peek at new golden ghetto decorations that shouldn't be ignored . . .

The City Council approved the official design for our new City flag — a design shaped by residents, refined with expert guidance from @flagstudies and finalized based on feedback from the community on several finalist options.

The flag includes:

• A red oak tree, Overland Park’s official tree and a nod to our Tree City USA designation
• Chevron arrows, representing progress and recognition as a top place to live
• Chartreuse, symbolizing growth, revitalization and innovation

• Forest green, reflecting natural resources, stability and history
