Outrage Over Olathe School Crackdown On Charlie Kirk 'Freedom' T-Shirt Tribute

Actually, there's actually a great deal precedent regarding t-shirt rules for schools and courts typically give administrators a great deal of discretion.

In an email exchange with a concerned citizen that has since been posted on the wildly popular Libs of TikTok X account, the principal for Olathe Unified School District 233 ‘s Arbor Creek Elementary School confirms the ban.

“I just want to make sure that you have told your staff to not wear those ‘Freedom’ shirts to school anymore,” the citizen writes to Principal Melissa Snell. “Please confirm. Thank you.”

The Olathe district has a Department of Culture and Belonging that offers “We All Belong Together” T-shirts and sweatshirts – though the Arbor Creek decision appears to not include Charlie Kirk fans in that belonging.
