Old School Kansas City Tenants Confront Busted Elevator Crisis

It's not election season so our tenant "activists" are waiting to appear with dark money to guide voters by way of PR stunts that mostly exclude locals who REALLY need help.

Like this poor lady  . . .

One floor after another...after another. Denise, 67, has to climb seven flights of stairs just to get home.

"It's different when you want to do it," said Vaughn-Bey. "It's a big inconvenience."

She lives in Mid-City Towers II in Kansas City, Missouri and said at least one of the two elevators in the seven-story building would often have issues, but starting around early July, both went down and haven't been working since.
