It shouldn't be a surprise that a stay in any detention facility kinda sucks.
To be fair . . .
Lockup in the U.S. is still better than anywhere else in the world.
Consider . . .
Callous commenters might earn some kind of shameful joy by reveling in human misery over misdemeanor rules enforced harshly. Still, TKC would happily join the haters if the lockup also included some of the corporate execs in charge of hiring who know that their biz runs off the labor of the undocumented/illegal.
