Missouri NAACP Launches Lawsuit Against GOP Redistricting

Legal threats were exchanged at the outset of this process . . . Now, one of many impending lawsuits is launched in hopes of thwarting the power move designed by MAGA and enthusiastically carried out by the Guv. 

TKC CAVEAT: And just so nobody gets angst-y . . . Of course that AI rendering is a metaphor expressing the excitement over breaking news and rhetorical, legal & political arguments . . . Even judging by the image, the fictional micro-nuke didn't hurt anybody in the empty IMAGINARY setting.

"The lawsuit argues that Gov. Mike Kehoe’s actions when he called the special session are unconstitutional . . . It also claims the special session would create an undue burden on interested residents who would need to travel to and from Jefferson City for public hearings and to participate in the process."
