First time around . . .
Guv Kehoe sent the National Guard against white middle-class and mostly senior citizen Kansas City protesters on the Country Club Plaza wherein absolutely NOTHING happened.
This time around . . .
The Guv "SENDS REINFORCEMENTS" to quiet offices that have been COMPLETELY untouched by all of the "resistance" in other cities.
In fairness . . .
This might mean we'll be seeing more Missouri ICE RAIDS given that immigration enforcement hasn't been as "strident" as in other parts of the nation and now, more importantly, La Migra crackdowns will be less likely to disturb local biz after Summer construction season.
Check-it . . .
Guv Kehoe said the Missouri National Guard will start assistance on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Their roles will be to assist with data entry, case management and logistical support. Those participating in the effort were selected on a volunteer basis and are eligible to be on duty through Sept. 30, 2026. It wasn't immediately clear how many National Guard members volunteered for the assignment.
Guv Kehoe says their work will allow ICE personnel to “focus on core enforcement and security functions.”
