The latest U.S. economic numbers indicate significant hardship for Americans looking for work.
The stark reality . . .
HIRING IS AT A STANDSTILL FOR MANY HIGH PAYING JOBS & IT'S HARD NOT TO NOTICE SO MANY LOCAL LAYOFFS & BUSINESSES SHUTTING DOWN!!!
A social media theme we've seen in a few places this week . . .
A jaunty service industry denizen will inform the group:
"Now is the time to visit your favorite local bar or restaurant since so many are closing!!!"
And the replies mostly echo the sentiment . . .
"With what money???"
Obviously . . .
The effort to assign political culpability is the obvious hackneyed & reactionary response . . . A lot of people are blaming the Prez . . . That might not be fair right now, maybe Midterms is the best time to make that judgement . . . Similarly, it's also nothing more than political spin to conflate current financial hardships with habitual condemnation of former President Biden and/or Obama.
Nevertheless . . .
We advise readers to cast blame wherever they'd like . . . Rosie O'Donnell or the "My Pillow" guy might be the best place to start . . . Either way there's no denying the current U.S. economic downturn that should be obvious to ANYBODY looking around at their fellow Americans.
Accordingly . . .
The challenge remains the same . . . To survive no matter how the politics of tough times hash out.
Check-it . . .
"Until recently, the US president could argue that his disruptive policy moves — from sweeping import tariffs to an aggressive immigration crackdown — had defied critics with resilient job creation and inflation relatively stable.
"But Friday’s figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed jobs growth has been grinding to a halt — US employers created just 22,000 positions in August after a weak summer — puncturing confidence that Trump’s economy will remain unscathed."
