The assassination of Charlie Kirk stands as a great tragedy in American history.
The brutal killing was one of the most horrific things that online denizens have ever witnessed.
Any decent person wouldn't wish that kind of violence on their worst enemy.
The ensuing conversation has angered conservatives and a lot of their complaints are fair.

Again . . . In many cases of online goofballs producing rage-bait garbage . . . Strident criticism from online critics is justified and fair.
Still, some might claim "cancellations" betray Kirk's "free speech" work and passion for debate.
TKC thinks that people who operate in good faith and truly consider the feelings of their neighbors won't have much trouble navigating this minefield. Call us naive for believing that it's possible to feel empathy, compassion and EVEN LOVE for fellow Americans despite political disagreements and especially in the aftermath of tragedy.
Sadly, none of that is gonna get your box store job back if the trolls bother your boss too much.
And so, as always, we advise caution about pretty much EVERYTHING . . .
Here's more info about cancellations after unwise Kirk commentary . . . A trend that's also hitting close to the metro . . .
