Hint . . . It's meth. It's always meth that drives copper theft in Missouri. Even worse, it's getting harder to blame the Mexicans and Chinese thanks to MAGA's border crackdown.

Local meth heads can make their goods in a sink by way of cold medicine and there remains A GREAT MANY ADDICTS throughout Missouri as public health resources dwindle and voters never have shown much sympathy for drug problems no matter how often they hit home.  

Now, here's the partisan angle so that bored and surprisingly cruel consumers can blame longstanding family problems on politics . . .
