The back & forth struggle for the narrative also doesn't inspire confidence as so many locals might be trying to save yet another cowtown gathering spot from the impact of concern over violence.

At this time, while KCPD says off-duty officer working at the park received reports of a person hearing what they thought were gunshots, they have no evidence of gunfire at this time."
