Show goes on in Midtown Kansas City . . . Here's another worthwhile celebratory report:
"It took millions of dollars and lots of volunteers to clean up and rebuild.
"Volunteers cleaned the scripts that were covered in soot. The theater, built in 1912, also lost most of its costumes, but many people stepped up and donated new ones.
"This is the second fire this theater has survived. The first one happened back in 1927.
"Now, the theater is finally ready to to welcome patrons once again."

Warwick Theater reopens, debuts new show after devastating fire
More than a year after a fire damaged the historic Warwick Theater off 9th and Main, it's ready to reopen and put on a show.
