Kansas City Suffers Latest Mass Shooting Near Peace Park

For late night readers and early morning denizens of our blog community . . . We take a pause to contemplate tragic nomenclature. 

For instance . . . 

At the midpoint of this week, local gunfire at "Peace Park" dominated headlines.  

This location is just a block over from Troost . . . The subject of a recent stalled rename effort. 

And all of this might instruct us that name games aren't REALLY as important as political activists lead us to believe and the values, circumstances and challenges confronted by neighborhoods are far more important.   

Accordingly, we share more reporting on the latest spate of Kansas City gunfire . . .  

"When first responders arrived, they said they found four gunshot victims. All were taken to a nearby hospital. Three of the victims were considered critical, while one was in stable condition."

Police are investigating after four people were injured in a shooting near Peace Park.

Kansas City shooting near Armour and Harrison leaves at least four injured

Police say three people were injured in a shooting Tuesday night near E. Armour Boulevard and Harrison Boulevard in Kansas City. One victim is in critical condition.
