"Roy Blunt Luminary Park now is expected to cost nearly $100 million more than local officials last estimated for the four-block project atop Interstate 670.
"New (city) estimates put the 5.5-acre park's cost at $315 million, based on engineering and financial reviews by Kansas City and the design-build team since the spring. Luminary Park, formerly called South Loop Link, had been estimated at $217.2 million based on September 2023 project materials."
