An important bit of precaution that's actually overkill given that most of the patrons who attend this event are closing in on their senior years and ACTUALLY WANT TO BE IN BED before 10pm.
Still . . .
The old school curfew is harmless if it reassures the last remaining denizens of the cowtown middle-class:
"One significant change is that the festival will close earlier than in recent years on Friday and Saturday nights. Instead of 10 both nights, closing time will be 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, and 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20."
