"THE NEXT PAGE KC recommends a YES vote for the recall of Frank White Jr. as Jackson County Executive.

"Our recommendation is not based upon his position of a NO vote on the stadium tax last year. We didn't even take into consideration many of the comments he made both before and after the vote concerning the "value" both teams bring to Jackson County. Neither, did we consider his revelation that both the City and the State make millions off of their investment into the stadiums, which fail in comparison to what Jackson County makes. Everyone pretty much knows the back story and his relationship with the Royals and their previous owners.

"However, we based our recommendation on his leadership style, the controversial position he took and maintained concerning the property tax assessments, the County's budget and the $72 million in COVID relief funds known as the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) sitting in the bank collecting dust as businesses in Jackson County close their doors and community not-for-profit programs suffer to meet the demands of the people . . ."
