Jackson County Exec Frank White Recall Earns New Stadium Victory?!?

Of course it does . . .

In fact, here are just a few tidbits that voters should know . . .

Last week there was a hit piece directed at a local legislator stuffed inside mailboxes at the Courthouse. The print-out was so scathing & personal that the legislator violated office rules and removed the messages himself . . . He's under pressure to achieve this win, he'll garner a HUGE career advancement if successful and he's now PANICKED over impending public reaction to his upcoming ascendancy.

Meanwhile . . .

Courthouse loyalists to Exec Frank are facing criticism over recent pay bumps and if the recall is successful their cash might be CRUELLY clawed back.

 And then . . .

Other legislators are scrambling to garner favor and position themselves for advancement amid the outcome of the election.

And here's what we think voters should know for better or worse . . .

THE JACKSON COUNTY RECALL IS JUST ANOTHER STADIUM VOTE!!! PUNCHLINE: REMOVING  EXEC FRANK WHITE WILL PAVE THE WAY FOR MORE CASH FOR CHIEFS & ROYALS!!!

 Accordingly . . .

That's a tough choice for voters who simply want to push back against property taxes and the dearth of 12th & Oak leadership.

However . . .

The cruel Catch-22 has been downplayed but without question the new boss will be empowered & emboldened to lead the way on more stadium money that probably won't need voter approval.

Exec White has attempted to articulate this point ahead of a crucial but, inevitably, low turnout election.

Here's the word . . .

"He harbors serious concerns about the character of some of the candidates who could possibly replace him, some of whom he has had public-facing and heated disagreements with for years. White wants voters to know his take on the matter: If you think I’m bad, the people who could replace me would be worse. “I’m worried about everything,” White said. “I’m worried about the infrastructure of this county. I’m worried about this building. I’m worried about the working conditions for the associates of the county.”

"Since a temporary interim executive would be appointed without having to win an election, White said he sees the recall as a strategy for potential interested parties to advance a stadiums plan without having to maintain financial accountability to voters . . ."

To wit . . .

EXEC FRANK WHITE WAS WRONG ABOUT PROPERTY TAXES BUT HE'S 100% CORRECT IN CALLING OUT THE STADIUM ISSUE THAT WILL MOVE FORWARD UPON HIS DEPARTURE!!!

Some might claim our TKC truism is nothing more than a conspiracy theory but the reality is that the rules of the new vote are outlined in the Charter and activists are pushing the county toward a new Democratic Party boss appointed only by the Legislature who will OBVIOUSLY owe his tenure to union leaders and construction interests that funded this effort far more than often well-meaning but naive grassroots organizers.
