Our local progressive friends seems to be kinda "meh" on this tribute . . .

Sure, maybe we should all get excited about some white lady cosplaying a trans person. But then again, she's part of a powerful Missouri GOP family not everybody is a fan of her shtick.

Also . . . Midtown KC needs better art & artists and not promotional material.

Here a more optimistic take . . .  

The rising star and Missouri native will perform for a two-night event on Oct. 3 and 4.

Kansas City is one of only three stops for her special tour alongside New York and Los Angeles, and that’s got fans pumped.

If you’re driving down Broadway near Valentine Road, you may notice a splash of red starting to cover a wall. 

A pair of artists have been hard at work honoring the singer, in a larger-than-life way, ahead of her concert.
