"Sentenced to 12 months and one day after he was found guilty back in February of nine counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering.

"Previous reporting states that he was a KCPD officer for 24 years and worked in the Crime Free Multi-Housing section from 2002 to 2023.

"Additionally, he served as president of Mid-America Crime Free, Inc. (MACF), a nonprofit organization that claimed to have provided training to individuals in the rental housing industry and promoted anti-crime programs from 2009 to 2023."
