Critics Attack Senator Eric Schmitt's Alleged White Nationalism

Kansas City local TV news has cleaned up this story and pretty much shies away from covering it in too much detail but today Missouri culture war garnered nationwide scrutiny given a controversial redistricting.

Our take . . . 

Senator Schmitt's suspected racism doesn't merit much attention from TKC because the empty words FAIL to push forward any policy which has been the hallmark of this dude's tenure that mostly serves to talk tough in front of friendly crowds but DO absolutely NOTHING. 

Other critics are far more upset . . . 

A fun contradictory fact for progressives & conservatives . . . He actually agrees with Socialist Senator Bernie about H-1B workers. 

But I digress . . .

Here's the scathing commentary that hopes to rally more loyal Democratic Party activists but probably only serves to garner Sen. Schmitt additional low-info voter support . . . Check-it:  

"Schmitt unleashed a diatribe against nonwhite immigrants and depicted the United States as the rightful inheritance of descendants of European settlers. His speech — titled “What Is an American?” — articulated a political vision that’s not so far removed from that of racist organizations like Return to the Land, a white nationalist group that is trying to establish a whites-only community in Arkansas and has sought to expand its footprint to Schmitt’s home state."
