Charlie Kirk Memorial Demands Solemnity

Like it or not . . .

Charlie Kirk's tragic & horrific assassination has become sacrosanct for many conservatives.  

Unlike so many "progressive" trolls . . . Here at TKC we respect the feelings and emotions of our neighbors. 

TKC has hopes desperately to have empathy. 

It just might not seem like it sometimes with all of the stupid fart jokes & our affinity for busty, chubby 30-something blondes . . . But, at least we hope, our blogging is guided by love. 

Seriously, we understand why the tragic murder would hit home for MILLIONS of conservatives in much the same way that we mourn for hundreds of our KC neighbors who have been killed by gun violence this year. 

None of this means that 75 million American voters for the other side aren't entitled to their opinion as well . . . BUT . . . It's okay to respect the feelings of neighbors and American conservatives. Translation: It's good give politics a rest every now and then . . . Even for the most engaged denizens of the discourse. 

In fact . . . 

Just a few of our conservative readers worry that this memorial might be more of a political rally. However, given that Mr. Kirk's life work was promotion of his conservative ideals, that's not at all inappropriate. 

Accordingly . . . 

We suggest that even our TKC readers who disagree with Charlie Kirk and his legacy take notice of a very important moment in time.

(U.S. President) Donald Trump, his vice-president, JD Vance, and Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, were among a long list of prominent officials and figures expected to pay tribute to the slain activist, a reflection of his deep imprint on the president’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

The memorial service was being held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a 63,000-seat home of the Arizona Cardinals football team and the venue where Taylor Swift launched her Eras tour.

Thousands of people wearing red, white and blue poured into the stadium.
