Republicans currently hold three of the four Congressional seats in Kansas. Of the nearly 2 million registered voters in Kansas, Kansas Senate Democratic Leader Dinah Sykes claims 45% identify as Republicans. She says the math does not add up.

“There is no wonder why so many Americans have lost faith in their government. They lose faith when they know districts are drawn so that their vote will not affect the outcome of elections. They lose faith when politicians use the power of an office to take power away from where it belongs – in the hands of the people.”
