Suspected Shawnee K-9 Stabber Charged

The latest glimpse at the "evolving" golden ghetto and increased danger to police doggies in the line of duty . . . Check-it: 

"Allegedly stabbed the dog, which the Shawnee Police Department brought to the scene, after the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department was called to a home in the 900 block of Riverview around 3:45 a.m. on Aug. 5. At the home, officers spoke with a person who said a family member had returned after an earlier assault involving a knife. When officers tried to approach the home to talk to the man, he barricaded himself inside. Shawnee police confirmed the dog involved was K9 Dagger, a Belgian Malinois who has been a part of the department since 2023."
