Kansas lost this battle in the drug war and this week MAGA made the state's stubborn refusal to change with the times seem even sillier.

Kansas is one of only five states that say marijuana is not legal in any capacity. If President Trump decides to reclassify marijuana as a Schedule 3 drug, it would join the ever-growing list of drugs and anabolic steroids, including Molly, Ketamine, methadone and products like Tylenol with codeine, defined as having a moderate potential for abuse and accepted for medical treatment.
Now, if the president does decide to reclassify marijuana as a Schedule 3 drug, it doesn't mean that all of a sudden, recreational marijuana is legal everywhere in the United States.
What it means is, a doctor could prescribe only medicinal marijuana for health reasons in every state.
