Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids Isn't Shy About Sharing Pork

Of course we must define terms to make sure everyone is up to speed: 

Pork barrel, or simply pork, is a metaphor for allocating government spending to localized projects in the representative's district or for securing direct expenditures primarily serving the sole interests of the representative.  

Accordingly . . .

It seems the congress lady is learning at an even faster rate as she touts bringing home the bacon, which is an old school way of doing political biz but something that A LOT of locals still respect . . .

"Representative Sharice Davids announced that 14 community projects from Kansas’ Third District she submitted have been included in the Fiscal Year 2026 U.S. House Appropriations Committee bills. These projects, totaling $11,857,146, aim to rebuild aging roads and bridges, strengthen public safety and law enforcement, expand water access during extreme weather, and address other critical community needs."
