Kansas City Mob Violence & Robbery Returns To Ward Parkway

And now . . . Circumstances have OBVIOUSLY CHANGED . . .  

The very best TKC READERS told us about this story hitting NEXTDOOR earlier this week. There was a lively discussion that TRAGICALLY devolved into racially-charged posturing and argumentation. 

However . . . Despite blame game politics and/or guilty conscience defenses . . . The fact remains the same . . . 

ONCE AGAIN WARD PARKWAY CONFRONTS MORE VIOLENCE AND ROBBERY!!! HOWEVER, A LOCAL HERO SAVED A VICTIM THIS TIME AROUND!!! 

This one hits home for KC residents because Ward Parkway isn't that far from the old school Bannister mall site . . . And we all know how that turned out . . . Currently, KCMO hopes to cling to Trader Joe's hipster goodness and the few amenities that mall still offers. 

Accordingly . . . Here's a look at how the recent dust-up went down . . .  

The Kansas City Police Department said that around 9 p.m. on August 1, a woman was assaulted as “multiple subjects” tried to take her car keys.

According to the victim’s mother, she had just left the Ward Parkway Shopping Center and was parked on the lower level of the lot near Trader Joe’s.

KCPD said the suspects were unsuccessful at taking the woman’s keys and ran away, leaving her with reportedly minor injuries.

The victim’s mother said a stranger stepped in and helped her daughter fend off the attackers. She thanked the man and asked for anyone who knows the people involved to reach out to the police.
