Kansas City Mayor Q & Council ALL TALK Against MAGA

More than anything we think our Mayor & Council need a FACT CHECK for the sake of our progressive friends. 

Our thesis . . .

MAYOR Q & COUNCIL PROGRESSIVES ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF TALK WHEN IT COMES TO MAGA OPPOSITION AND WE REALLY DOUBT THEY'LL EVEN DRAW UP A RESOLUTION REFUTING MAGA!!!

If they did pass something . . . It would be kinda interesting given that Missouri Republicans are still pushing the "Second Amendment Preservation Act" against the Feds that was initially a snub against Prez Biden.  

Caveat . . . None of his applies to our two conservative Northland reps who are outnumbered but still rep their districts well. 

However . . . 

What we're talking about is, right or wrong, Chicago's Mayor risking his biscuit while KC's mayor only talks tough on talk shows and to friendly reporters. 

We're hoping that even our conservative friends think this dichotomy is worth pointing out.  

 Meanwhile, here's the latest on MAGA push back that just might end with a Midwestern mayor going to jail for signing a piece of paper . . .

The mayor of Chicago has signed an order detailing how the city will resist a potential immigration crackdown threatened by the Trump administration.

"We do not need nor want an unconstitutional and illegal military occupation of our city," said Mayor Brandon Johnson, a Democrat. The order directs city agencies on how to respond to possible immigration enforcement actions.

Trump has already deployed about 2,000 troops to Washington DC, and has threatened to extend the order to Chicago, which he says is a "mess". There are also reports the administration is planning a surge of federal immigration agents into the city.

A White House spokesperson described Johnson's order as "a publicity stunt."
