A brutal local crime confronts dire legal consequences today . . .
Trigger warning, the deets in this case a pretty horrific:
Based on eyewitness testimony and surveillance footage, a man ran over the victim with his Ford F-150, then got out and shot her multiple times at close range while she was on the ground.
He walked toward the street, turned back and fired at her again, surveillance footage shows. After reloading his weapon, he returned and shot her again before driving away.
"The victim recently broke up with Arel and she was pregnant with Arel's child," the probable cause statement says.
