Deputy Elijah Ming was shot and killed on July 26 while responding to a domestic violence call in Kansas City, Kansas.
Deputy Ming’s public service will be held at Children’s Mercy Park in The Legends, starting at 11 a.m. There will be a 21-gun salute and a Kansas Highway Patrol helicopter flyover.
After, a law enforcement procession will take Deputy Ming on a final ride through the heart of Kansas City before he is buried in a private, family-only service.
