Both sides of the aisle suffer from taking talking points too seriously and/or mistaking political rhetoric for objective fact . . . Whilst we all know the dangers of the "cult of Oprah" here's a bit more insight into conservative talking points . . . 

"A new study from Purdue University has concluded that "right-wing news media doesn’t just sit on the opposite end of the political spectrum from mainstream outlets — it operates more like a religion than a traditional news source," as this news release about the study puts it in grammatically incorrect language, using "doesn't" instead of "don't" and "it" instead of "they".
