Kansas City Citizenship Questions: Racist, Rude Or Deserved?!?

Maybe all three . . . TKC isn't here to judge.

Here's our quick take before we throw the question out . . . 

TKC merely advises that questions about legal status in the shadow of MAGA mass deportations are problematic and loaded with political pitfalls. 

It'll be interesting to read contrarian views that argue for interrogation based on ethnic traits BUT the citizenship challenges to an elected officials are kinda like asking somebody when they stopped beating their wife GIVEN THAT . . . 

It's probably safe for even the most strident online sleuth to ASSUME that at least the most rudimentary background checks for EVERY elected official are standard. 

But maybe we're being too optimistic.

Similarly . . . Indignant posturing which pounces on blundering opponents isn't quite the victory that progressive politicos would like to achieve.  

Accordingly . . .
