Kansas City Activists Decry 'Transit Desert' Outside Urban Core

The trend is actually 100% factual . . . But the "desert" term is played out and shows us activists & newsies aren't really putting much thought into a complaint that's ACTUALLY probably easier addressed by ride-sharing tech and other alternatives beyond busses.

Here's the word . . .  

"Much of south Kansas City, Missouri, and its neighborhoods north of the Missouri River are transit deserts. City council members who represent those areas are focused on improving transit. But without more regional funding, it’ll be a struggle just to keep the few bus lines that already exist."
