Jason Kander & David Hogg Command Sellout Kansas City Crowd

Kansas City's most celebrated Democratic Party leader will soon take the stage with a progressive rising star at what could be the most important cocktail party of the season.

Sadly . . . There's no more room for the public and any in-person criticism would like be silenced by way of those silly "civility bells" that shut down dissent.

The bigger question . . .

HOW WILL KANDER COPE WITH MORE RADICAL PROGRESSIVES?!?

Like it or not, Jason Kander's opinions are mostly middle-of-the-road whereas the Dems don't seem very fond of David Hogg's upheaval.

Sadly . . . We might not learn much about the talk which mostly functions as a fancy soirĂ©e for people still wanting to burn more cash on mediocre candidates beyond former veep Kamala's tab.

Here are the basics of the event to start and bad news about the dearth of tickets . . .

Our conversation with @davidmileshogg and @jasonkander, The Future of the Democratic Party, is SOLD OUT! We can't wait to give a big KC welcome to David on 8/15.

More deets on the cocktail party that isn't for anybody on the losing end of the food chain . . .

"Where does the Democratic party go from here? After the 2024 election defeat, many voices have tried to fill the vacuum around conversations about the future of the Democratic party, but few have been as visible as David Hogg. From his time as co-vice chair at the DNC to founding his own PAC to support younger Democratic candidates, Hogg has been a critical part of the conversation in 2025. Hogg’s background as a survivor of the Parkland School shooting and outspoken commonsense gun reform activist have made him one of the most visible Gen Z leaders during the Trump era. This panel will unpack the role of younger candidates in the local and national conversation, what issues Democrats should pursue in the midterms, and which figures Hogg believes represent the future of the party."
