Jackson County Exec Frank White's Cancer Confession Might Defeat Recall?!?

Don't underestimate the pathological politeness of Kansas City voters.

Also . . . Think about this: 

- He's not running for reelection.

- He has struggled with health issues.

- The next Exec has to be a Dem according to the Charter. 

 This begs the question . . .

WILL ALL OF THESE FACTORS INSPIRE VOTERS TO SKIP RECALL BALLOTS?!?!

 To be fair . . .

The movement is comprised of a "highly motivated" electorate . . . Even if it's just amongst those who gathered the petitions . . . So they've got that going for them. 

 For now . . .

Most people congratulate the Exec on his recovery and wish him the best no matter how the vote turns out . . . Check-it . . .  

White revealed in a news release Thursday that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2022 and as a result had surgery to remove one of his kidneys.

He said he’s now cancer-free, and credits early detection, his medical team and his family for allowing him to overcome the diagnosis . . . 

This announcement comes a day after White alerted county staff in a letter that he would not be seeking reelection at the conclusion of his term in 2026.
