This time around local construction leaders are taking it on the chin from the right-wing.

Remember that progressive KCMO energy code changes hampered home building over the last few years.

Here's a bit of complaining about the White House from locals who can't seem to catch a break . . . 

Check-it:  

"One official with the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City said the metro has fewer lots to build houses, and high interest rates make it more difficult for families to build new homes on the declining number of lots."
