Bipartisan Beltway Hateration Against USDA Moving Jobs To Kansas City

Locally . . . This move might not be such a bad thing . . . A couple of GOP congressman are even excited about the switcheroo . . . However . . . Here's a local take that highlights opposition APPARENTLY from both sides . . . Check-it . . . 

"The proposal from Secretary Brooke Rollins calls for cutting 2,600 of the department's 4,600 jobs in the D.C. area and expanding the department’s footprint in five regional hubs, including Kansas City.

"Members of both parties on the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee chastised a U.S. Department of Agriculture official Wednesday for not consulting Congress before proposing to shift thousands of jobs out of the Washington, D.C., area."
